Should parents force their kids to go to school when they are sick?

No I don't. My daughter caught everything, and I mean everything. Her immune system has always been weak. She missed school because she caught what students that were sent to school sick had. Parents that do that have no consideration for other people and their children. I couldn't figure out why she was getting sick so much. Then the principal's wife tells me that their twin boys went to school sick all week. And I finally figured it out. I was babysitting my nephews for my sister in law. The older one was in kindergarten. One day he was running a fever and vomiting, I called my sister in law about keeping him home. She told me to take him anyway. I drove to the school, got him out of my car and he threw up. I put him back in the car and took him home. She fired me for that. She either wasn't thinking about the other children or she didn't care. He probably would have infected at least half of his class. Parents need to understand that they're endangering other children when they send their children to school sick.
